Multiplication Squares Online

I used to be an elementary teacher, and was in that position for about four years.

When I was teaching, I would to play a game called "multiplication squares" with my classes. The game was simple, and helped students hone their multiplication skills.

The game required students to draw on the page, so I would print fresh copies every time we would play. Obviously this was very wasteful.. I eventually decided to print a class set of the page and laminate it. This way, when students were finished, they could wipe it down to be used again for another day.

It's been many years since I've thought about this game, but a couple days ago it snuck it's way into my brain.

"This would be a relatively simple online game", I thought.. As I usually do, I obsessed about the idea until I action-ed it. So, after about 36 hours, I present https://m-squares.anoya.ca AKA Multiplication squares online.

The game is free to play, and can be played by up to 4 students at once (on the same device). The students can practice their multiplication up to the 12 times tables.
